R&B duo VanJess joins forces with rapper GoldLink for their new single “Through Enough.” The song premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio on Apple Music.
On the funk-inspired track, produced by Lophiile (H.E.R., GoldLink), VanJess sings about being afraid to love again after experiencing a past heartbreak.
“Don’t take me ransom babe / I been through enough (through enough),” they sing.
“Through Enough” will appear in an upcoming episode of HBO’s hit show Insecure, which stars Issa Rae.
VanJess is consists of Nigerian-American sisters Ivana and Jessica Nwokike. The duo rose to popularity from their YouTube covers, which collectively garnered over 35 million views. Stay tuned for their LP coming later this year.
