Chris Brown’s ninth album Indigo is out, and the numbers are looking good. So good, the global superstar could dance his way to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 next week.
According to Hits Daily Double, Brown’s star-studded album is on track to pushing 110,000-135,000 in equivalent album units for its first week sales. The album is on target to move 40,000-50,000 in pure sales.
If the early sale predictions from HDD stick, Brown’s Indigo album will mark his third number one album on the Billboard 200, joining 2012’s Fortune and 2011’s F.A.M.E.
Brown’s new album features 32 tracks including the singles “Undecided,” “Back to Love,” “Wobble Up” and “No Guidance.” The latter track, which features Drake, debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning Breezy his first top ten entry as a lead artist since 2014’s “Loyal” featuring Tyga.
This summer, Brown will launch his 38-city INDIGOAT Tour with special guests Ty Dolla $ign, Tory Lanez, Joyner Lucas and Yella Beezy. The first show kicks off on August 20 in Portland. Tickets are available now on Live Nation.
