Lizzo is a bad chick. Fresh off the release of her sizzling “Tempo” video featuring Missy Elliott, the skillful artist flexes her amazing vocal chops on a new episode of NPR’s Tiny Desk series.
As if her extraordinary personality wasn’t enough to light up a room, Lizzo rocks an orange getup to brighten her show. With guests busting out of the seam of the small set, Lizzo delivered stellar performances of three cuts from her major-label debut Cuz I Love You, including her top five Hot 100 hit “Truth Hurts.”
Beyond the charts, 2019 continues to be the best year yet for Lizzo. At the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, she is up for two “Moon Person” awards — Best New Artist and Push Artist of the Year.
This fall, Lizzo will break out her famous flute for the second leg of her Cuz I Love You Tour. Ari Lennox, Empress Of and DJ Sophia Eris will serve as supporting acts on select dates.
