There’s never a need to question if Ari Lennox’s mic is on. The frontwoman of Dreamville stepped in the COLORS studio to flaunt her bluesiness that we have all come to love.
Lennox, clad in bone-colored denim jacket and a white lace corset getup, perform a soulfully, charismatic version of “I Been” off her Shea Butter Baby debut. With each powerful note, she plunges deeper into the ear canals of R&B admirers, giving them a rush of chills.
If you liked Lennox’s COLORS session, you’re in luck this fall. She will serve as a special guest on select dates for Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You Too Tour. The first show starts on September 7 at The Fillmore in New Orleans.
On September 14, Lennox will join H.E.R.’s star-studded lineup of R&B newbies for the inaugural Lights On Festival in Concord, California.
Following her additional tour dates with Lizzo, Lennox will embark on first-ever headlining European tour. It starts on December 2 in Oslo, Norway at Parkteatret Scene.
