On her empowering new anthem “Girl No More,” Stephens’ vocals glisten over an eccentric surface, as she throws everything she knows now about her past romance back in her ex’s face. The instrumental of this record has a high-thread count of vibrations that makes her emancipation from a toxic narrative worth hearing out.
“Girl No More” follows her advance single “Got It Like That,” which she released this spring. Both songs will appear on her f**k it i’ll do it myself EP, due later this fall.
