Khalid is now 2-0 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart.

His latest single “Talk” has made its way to the pole position, becoming the 21-year-old artist’s second number one visit on this chart. His breakout hit “Location,” lifted from his American Teen debut, held the chart-topping title for three consecutive weeks in fall 2017.

Khalid, who recently released an A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie-assisted “Right Back (Remix),” also captured the top spot on urban adult contemporary radio with his addictive Free Spirit single.

On a lighter note, Khalid will be holding a benefit concert in his hometown of El Paso, Texas, later this month in support of the victims involved in the tragic mass shooting.

“Over the past few days, I’ve been thinking of ways to help out and support the city,” he tweeted on Monday. “I’m planning for a benefit concert later this month, all of the proceeds will go to the families affected by the shooting. Sending everyone my love and will keep you guys updated.”
