SiR has officially signed to RCA Records. The California native announced the news on Tuesday. He joins his Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate SZA on their roster.
SiR dropped a few hints on Twitter in late July about his next move and fans have been patient for the announcement. “Thank you all for your continued support. Excited for the next step in my journey,” he shared on Instagram.
In additional exciting news, SiR will release his new single “Hair Down” featuring Kendrick Lamar on Thursday, August 8. It will serve as the lead track from his upcoming album, Chasing Summer, which is set to arrive on August 30.
Chasing Summer serves as a follow-up to his debut album November, which dropped in January 2018. The album was among Rated R&B’s list of the 25 best R&B albums of 2018.
