Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Jason Boyd a.k.a Poo Bear has released his new single titled “Two Commas.” It is the first offering from his upcoming project, Bars And Guitars. The song was co-produced by Sasha Sirotkin, The Audibles and Poo Bear.
Speaking on his new single, Poo Bear says, “‘Two Commas’ is the first song that I’m releasing that describes my current real life to date. I’ve released some music in the past but these are by far the most intimate and heartfelt songs that I’ve ever put out to the world. I’m extremely insecure about it but I feel like it’s necessary to get it out no matter what!”
“Two Commas” is Poo Bear’s first music release since his 2018 album, Poo Bear Presents: Bearthday Music. The album included the hit single “Hard 2 Face Reality” featuring Justin Bieber and Jay Electronica. The track has over 52 million streams on Spotify.
Speaking of Bieber, Poo Bear has worked closely with the pop star for the last five years. He co-wrote a lot of the songs on his number one album, Purpose, including the smash singles “What Do You Mean,” “Company” and “Where Are Ü Now.”
He most recently co-wrote Ed Sheeran and Bieber’s song “I Don’t Care,” which remained number one in the UK for eight consecutive weeks.
On an R&B front, Poo Bear has written songs for artists like 112 (“Peaches and Cream”), Usher (“Caught Up”), Chris Brown (“She Ain’t You”), Amerie, Kelly Price, Jill Scott and many others.
