H.E.R. is going need more wall space soon.
The Grammy winner has collected her third certified-platinum single, from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), for “Could’ve Been” featuring Bryson Tiller. The D’Mile-produced track soared to the number one spot on urban adult contemporary radio in May.
H.E.R’s recent accomplishment marks her third track this year behind “Focus” and “Best Part” with over one million copies sold. In July, the latter duet, which won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance in February, earned double platinum status.
Also in July, H.E.R.’s previously released songs “Losing” and “Every Kind of Way” were certified gold.
Ahead of the updated certification, H.E.R. dropped a video for “Slide” featuring YG. She also released I Used to Know Her, an LP that combines her two 2018 EPs as well as new songs.
In November, H.E.R. is performing at Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival. Solange, Daniel Caesar, Blood Orange, and more have been tapped for the performers list.
