Jhené Aiko has released a remix to her latest single “Triggered.” Enlisting rapper 21 Savage and Summer Walker, the remix features Aiko’s two original verses, along with a verse from 21 and Walker.
21 Savage hops on the third verse, talking about how he was triggered from seeing his ex with her new man. “I was triggered when I seen you with that scrub (On God) / He can’t handle you, you know you need a thug (Straight up),” he raps.
Walker chimes in on the fourth verse and sings about how she plans to move on from her recent breakup. “First thing that I gotta do, I gotta go remove my tattoos / I gotta get up out of this place,” she sings.
Aiko’s “Triggered (Remix)” comes just a few weeks after releasing “Triggered Protection Mantra.” She will appear on Walker’s debut album, Over It, on a song called “I’ll Kill You.” The album arrives this Friday, October 4 via LVRN/Interscope Records.
