Teenear shows fans how to balance a career and a love life on her new single “Dolla Signs.”
For the melodic slow jam, the emerging singer interpolates Aaliyah’s classic “I Don’t Wanna” that appeared on both the Next Friday and Romeo Must Die soundtrack. Teenear uses this track to reveal how she constantly thinks about her man while on the road making money moves.
While Teenear hasn’t released an official music video for the song, choreographers Aliya Janell and Tallie Léon shared a sexy visual to accompany the roll out. It can be seen here.
“Dolla Signs” follows Teenear’s summer bop “I Like That” featuring Lil’ Baby and 2018’s “Need Your Love.” The three records are expected to appear on her debut project, which will be released later this year via Slip-N-Slide Records.
“Honestly, it’s really me just telling my story of me growing up in love, I guess you can say? It’s going to be a big representation of who I am and my thoughts,” Teenear told Rated R&B about her forthcoming project.
