Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Ro James is back with “Last Time,” his first solo single since 2018’s “Excuse Me.”
The single features slick production and a clever sample of Usher’s 2004 slow jam “Can You Handle It?”
James proves he is skilled in the art of seduction as he croons out, “Tell me when’s the last time / he noticed all your efforts / told you that you look good today.”
The New York native took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes his latest single. “Yerrrrrr!! LETS GO. Dropped a new Slap today. Another one with my bros @soundz & @versesimmonds,” he wrote.
James has been teasing his sophomore album throughout 2019 and even released a song titled “Sunday Sex” back June.
The R&B singer has been pretty busy on a feature run this year with “Magic” with Luke James, “Go Girl” with the latter and BJ the Chicago Kid, and “Roller Coaster” with Cassie.
