Up and coming singer-songwriter Jaz Karis is back with new vibes on her second EP titled Summer Stories.
The project features the South-London singer alone and in her element, singing her heart out over a soulful landscape. The production is lush and bright, beautifully juxtapositioned for Karis’ somber lyricism.
Highlighted with the self-love ballad “The Waiting Line,” Summer Stories allows Karis to show off her skills has songwriter with sticky action phrasing like “you gotta come around more often.”
The R&B songstress shared a post about the project via Instagram. “SUMMER STORIES OUT NOW ON ALL PLATFORMS. Unmanaged, unsigned but never alone,” she wrote.
Karis released the video for her single “Fairytales” back in September.
Summer Stories is Karis’ first project since her live album Live at The Diary in 2018. Her debut EP Into the Wilderness was released in 2017.
