Less than two months after her debut album, R&B recluse Summer Walker is blessing ears once again with the release of “Something Real” featuring Chris Brown.
Produced by London on da Track, “Something Real” is the marriage of Walker’s honest, unapologetic nature and Brown’s radio-ready energy. The two seamlessly croon together about wanting a fresh feel in their respective love lives.
“I want something/ That I know is real / I want something / Something that I can feel / Come and put me on the real, real, real,” the two harmonize together.
Both Walker and Brown shared the track via Instagram, with the latter saying “THANKFUL TO BE APART OF THIS.”
Brown is nominated for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist and Favorite Soul/R&B Album for Indigo at the 47th Annual American Music Awards which will air Sunday, November 24.
Walker released her video for “Playing Games” back in October.
