From the producers that brought you Louis York’s “No Regrets” comes Genesis, a classic soul EP from sassy soulful trio The Shindellas.
After shining on their debut album American Griots, songwriters Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony have produced a dream world of Motown sound and feminist power on The Shindella’s debut EP via their label Weirdo Workshop.
On their track “Ain’t That The Truth,” the Nashville-based trio details what it means to be a Shindella: “What it means to me is to accept who you are, and your experiences.”
“Our EP Comes out tomorrow!!,” the group announced on Instagram. “This is a compilation of the first Chapter of The Shindellas Experience. We are so proud of these songs the message and the complete Shindo they bring!!”
The Shindellas teased the EP with the release of their debut single “Reconsider” in 2018, as well as other songs from the project throughout 2019.
