Kiana Ledé is heating things up in 2020. The singer-songwriter is feeling herself on her latest single “Mad At Me.”
The track is produced by duo Rice N’ Peas and features a fresh take on Outkast’s 2001 single “So Fresh, So Clean.”
Lyrically, “Mad At Me” details Ledé’s dealing with haters flexing on her success. “I been on my hot shit lately, can’t be mad at me / you been on some fuck shit lately, can’t be mad at me,” Ledé sings on the song’s chorus.
“We’re LEADING in 2020. I’m not good at that following shit. I can do this because you guys believe in me. I love you,” the Arizona-native tweeted shortly after the song’s release.
Following the success of her Myself era, “Mad At Me” is Ledé’s third release from her upcoming LP after “Easy Breezy” and “Title.”
