Raheem DeVaughn fans rejoice. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has dropped the video for “Love Reunion.”
Directed by Charniece Fox, the visual details ReVaughn’s pursuit to win back the love of his life. The Washington, D.C. native wears his heart on his sleeve, crooning lyrics of forgiveness on the apologetic track.
“I wanted the video to reflect the actual lyrics of the song. I wanted to take it back to the time where videos had storylines and you felt what you were watching,” DeVaughn said regarding the track.
He added, “This song was penned for all of us that have actually made the mistake of stepping out on your partner and then you realize that your partner’s love is worth fighting for and you are willing to do anything possible to get it back.”
“Love Reunion” comes from DeVaughn’s 2019 album of the same name. He released the video for “Rose Gold,” another song on the album, in late 2019.
