Thanks to Raheem DeVaughn the planet just got pregnant again. Less than a year after releasing his last album Decade of a Love King, the R&B veteran returns with his seventh studio album, The Love Reunion.
The 13-track set includes his top 30 R&B hit “Just Right” and “Joyful Noise (The Chill AF Mix),” a contemporary holiday song featuring saxophonist Vandell Andrew.
The self-proclaimed Love King collaborated with emerging hip-hop artist Chuck Naylor and reggae/dancehall master Edley Shine (of Born Jamericans) for the collection of romantic tunes.
DeVaughn plans to spread love on the road this summer with a series of show dates. He is heading to New Orleans to join Brian McKnight and Avant at Tipitina’s Uptown for the Fourth of July.
He is also performing on July 13 in Boston at City Winery and the Cincinnati Music Festival on July 26. Tickets are available here.
