After releasing “Take You There” in late 2019, Dondria follows up with the accompanying video.
Directed by G Visuals, the video shows Dondria spending quality time with her love interest (played by Darryl Chambers).
The two love birds are seen hugged up at the beach before heading home where Dondria prepares a meal for him. Later that day, they hit a local bar where they continue to gush over each other.
“‘Take You There’ is a little deeper than the lyrics suggest,” Dondria told Rated R&B in a statement. “I want to take you to a ‘higher’ place where: society and social media don’t define a damn thing, relationship goals are centered around unconditional love, you can get high without hitting a blunt, insecurities don’t exist, and ecstasy exists beyond orgasms.”
“Take You There” is the first single from Dondria’s forthcoming EP, Perspectives, slated to release this spring.
