After a 13-year hiatus, R&B singer Mashonda has returned with her new track titled “King.”
Arriving as a Valentine’s Day gift to her fans, the Stats & Sage-produced finds Mashonda serenading her love interest.
“’King’ is my ode to self-love and the journey towards healing in a relationship,” Mashonda explained in a press release. “I want people to feel again with music…have them take something deep from it and use it for their journey.”
Mashonda confirmed that “King” is the first single from her upcoming EP that is slated to release soon.
