Alina Baraz has “More Than Enough” time to release new music, while social distancing.
The third pre-album cut off It Was Divine is marked by warm vocals and a fluidly inviting sound that compliments the love-struck lyrics about finding it impossible to leave a certain guy.
The genius production duo, comprised of Dante Jones and Spencer Stewart, is responsible for the gorgeous new effort. The skilled pair worked together on Baraz’s recent track “Morocco” featuring 6LACK.
Slated to arrive on May 5 via Mom+Pop Records, It Was Divine is Baraz’s first full-length release since 2018’s The Color of You.
Considered the closest thing to her heart, this forthcoming LP will feature the lead single “To Me,” which was issued in September 2019.
“This album gravitates around love and self. Losing it then finding it,” Baraz expressed in a statement. “A stream of thought, a shift in my perspective. It’s learning how to take care of myself. Nourishing what’s real. Learning how to let go. Learning how to let love in.”
