R&B rookie Shantel May has released a brand new single “It’s Better This Way.”
May’s hazy vocals glisten above a chilled-out soundscape as she confronts her never-changing ex about his unwillingness to change. She insists “it’s better” that they remain friends – without the benefits.
May accompanies the Vinylz + Nineteen85-produced track with the official music video. The LeSean Harris-directed video can be watched above.
“It’s Better This Way” is the second offering from May, who released her debut track “Back n Forth” in 2018.
May’s road to superstardom is soon to take off. The blooming star appears on dvsn’s acclaimed third album A Muse In Her Feelings, which is out now.
