You know they had to do it again right?
Usher has reunited with Lil Jon and Ludacris for his new single titled “SexBeat.” The bedroom jam was produced by Lil Jon and written by Jermaine Dupri.
The song release comes less than a week after Lil Jon previewed it after his Verzuz battle with T-Pain on Instagram Live. Immediately after fans heard the snippet, they demanded the song to be released in its entirety.
On Monday, Usher hinted at the possibility of dropping “SexBeat,” as long as the demand was still there.
He tweeted, “Yo!! … after that response last night to my new record after the battle between Lil Jon & TPain … I’m thinkin bout droppin this week … retweet me if you feelin it?”

The dynamic trio first appeared on the same track in 2004 on Usher’s No. 1 single “Yeah” from his groundbreaking album, Confessions. Later that year, they reunited for “Lovers and Friends” from Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz’s Crunk Juice album.
“SexBeat” is the follow-up to Usher’s Ella Mai-assisted single “Don’t Waste My Time,” which dropped in December 2019. He premiered the accompanying star-studded music video in March. Both songs are expected to appear on Usher’s highly-anticipated album, Confessions 2.
