Could Usher have more to confess?
After celebrating the 15th anniversary of his hit album Confessions, the multi-awarded entertainer was spotted on Wednesday in Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def studio working on a possible sequel.
In a recent Instagram post, Usher posted a photo of himself posing like a man with a master plan in front of a whiteboard that stated Confessions 2. While the contents below were blurred, his caption “Dis what ya’ll want” let fans know he heard them loud and clear about a follow-up.
Over the last week, Usher has been seen studio crafting sounds with the likes of Jermaine Durpi, Sean Garrett and Bryan-Michael Cox, who reposted a video from Dupri’s IG that features one of the project’s new sound.
Rewinding the snippet makes it impossible to forget the blockbuster success of his diamond certified album, which spawned several hits, including “Yeah,” “Burn,” “Confessions: Part II” and “My Boo” featuring Alicia Keys. The album also won a Grammy along with a host of other accolades.
Months prior to his Confessions 2 talk, the Atlanta native released A, an EP that found Usher taking a sonically different approach than his previous albums.
