If you’re looking for some good vibes, then musical triple-threat Kevin Ross has what you need with his latest single “God Is A Genius.”
The breezy new track sees Ross calling on a higher power, praising God for bringing him and his lover together.
“God must be a genius / Or me and you wouldn’t be here / I know this is selfish, yeah / but I don’t believe in coincidence,” Ross croons on the song’s chorus.
“This record couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s starting to warm up outside and cities are slowly beginning to open up,” Ross says about the track.
He continues, “Great vibes to bring us into our new normal. Don’t be confused by the title, it’s not a gospel record lol. This song is for everyone who believes in love.”
“God Is A Genius” is the first single from Ross’ upcoming project, Audacity, Vol. 2. The first installment was released in January and debuted at No. 3 on the iTunes R&B Albums Chart.
The DMV-native also released his Interim Series, a collection of cover songs he inspired by his reflection of what the needs during the global pandemic, back in March.
