Lloyd heats things up in his video for “Slow Wine Bass Line” featuring Teddy Riley.
Taking place in 1979, Lloyd is in the middle of an ongoing house party in the Beef Jones-directed visual. With an array of colorful lights in every room, the party seems to be quite the event. The New Orleans native partakes in a beverage or two as his lady friend meets him at the bar. After he takes her on the dance floor, he catches the eye of his main lady, who whisks him away upstairs for some alone time.
Lloyd had a distinct vision when creating this visual. “Getting the last dance at a good ole, red light basement, East Atlanta house party is what I envisioned when making this song,” he shared on social media.
“Slow Wine Bass Line,” which samples Keith Sweat’s classic hit “Right and a Wrong Way,” is Lloyd’s first single since his 2018 TRU LP.
