After releasing “Made For” in January, Q Parker returns with another uplifting tune titled “I Need You.”
The former 112 member called on his musical buddies — Tank, Musiq Soulchild, Ginuwine, MAJOR., PJ Morton, Raheem DeVaughn, Bobby V, Jacquees, Montell Jordan, John P. Kee, Todd Dulaney, Jonathan McReynolds, Travis Greene, Eric Dawkins, Jason Nelson, Brian Courtney Wilson and Byron Cage — to contribute their vocals to the track.
“I Need You” is the second offering from Parker’s upcoming album, The Bridge Project: Brothers United, which is slated to release later this year. Parker hopes his new project will help bridge the gap between R&B and gospel music.
Speaking on his upcoming album, Parker says, “44 Black men from gospel and mainstream came together to lead the effort of creating a body of work that I hope will help change outcomes for Black men in their communities psychologically, socially and mentally. My hope is that the mental strength of the Black men will be restored by relying on the inner power of the collective.”
