Directed by Derek Blanks, this video depicts how unrequited love can result in a mental breakdown. Confined by the padded walls of agony and escapism, a straitjacketed Brandy is seen in an unhinged state as she battles a wildfire of emotions about a bad romance.
“Borderline” arrives minutes after Brandy’s first album in almost eight years made its digital drop. It follows the divinely recorded love jam “Rather Be,” and the lead single “Baby Mama” featuring Chance the Rapper.
