Ralph Tresvant is back. The legendary crooner has teamed up with his New Edition buddy Johnny Gill for his new single titled “All Mine.”
Over midtempo production with trap drums, Tresvant professes his commitment to his love interest.
Gill’s appearance on the track is subtle but is appreciated, as he lends his stellar vocals to the background.
“You’re all I ever asked for / I can’t hold it in / Put my money on you / All we do is win / Sorry if I’m selfish / Want you for myself,” he sings on the chorus.
Tresvant shared the meaning behind his new single. “‘All Mine’ to me is a statement record,” he stated. “It’s a grown folks record that says good R&B music executed properly always has a place in the music industry. It also show[s] that addressing the subject of love never gets old!”
“All Mine” is the first offering from Tresvant’s upcoming fourth studio album that will release via The Sono Recording Group. The untitled project will follow 2006’s Rizz-Wa-Faire.
He recently collaborated on Gill’s single “Perfect,” which appeared on his latest album, Game Changer II.
