Rising artist Kaash Paige makes her official introduction to music consumers with her first full-length album, Teenage Fever, via Def Jam.
For her freshman project, the 19-year-old Dallas native collaborated with Don Toliver, SSGKobe, 42 Dugg, K Camp and Isaiah Rashad.
Teenage Fever finds Paige in her own safe space, as she explores relatable topics like depression, anxiety and heartbreak. Not all the subject matter is heavy. As an emerging act, taps into some of her ambitions, such as collecting awards during “Grammy Week.”
“‘Grammy Week’ is me manifesting being a part of the Grammys,” Paige explained to Audiomack. “Having that call to my homie, like, ‘Yo, today’s the day!’ Me and Don [Toliver] are both upcoming artists and I do see us getting GRAMMYs. Being successful is elevating in the world, having the world become more aware of who we are.”
The album follows Paige’s debut EP, Parked Car Convos, which dropped last November. It featured her viral hit “Love Songs,” which has garnered over 87 million streams on Spotify. Atlanta-based singer 6LACK appeared on the official remix.
