With a stately voice, Xavier Omär has delivered a strong contender for the wedding song of the year.
“So Much More,” the first single from his forthcoming project due this fall, is deeply romantic in every beautiful way. Omär sounds relaxed here, in love and content, as he puts his story of love with his wife on wax.
The arrangement of the DJ Camper-produced record hints at the progression of R&B with its haunting ambiance. Camper also proves that he’s an admirer of the golden age of the genre with the song’s delicate piano-bottom.
Described as a “beautiful expression of me and my wife’s story,” Omär says, “I really wanted the song to sound like love and to me, some late ’90s R&B songs are the template for that.”
He continues, “So we molded that sound into my true emotions of not being able to quantify what my wife means to me and I hope that it becomes an anthem for lovers everywhere.”
Omär brings his new song about a tale of lovers to life with a fitting music video.
Omär released his last album Moments Spent Loving You in October 2019. It was a collaborative project with producer Sango.
