Eric Bellinger is 3-0 on the single releases for his upcoming album Eric B. For President: Term 3. The singer-songwriter and his future “Flotus” are ready to take the oval office on his newest track.
Bellinger, employing hazed vocals above a bass-heavy production, sings about the necessity of having a desired woman as his first lady. In jest, he talks about getting the infamous and alleged fellatio treatment of a past president.
Bellinger took to Instagram to share why he thinks this song will be a hit with his fans. “This song is guaranteed to be a fan favorite, especially amongst the females! I love praising women and we left no stone unturned on this one lol [.] It’s a feel-good bop with radio-friendly lyrics and melodies,” he wrote.
For the music video, directed by Jack Lumetri, Bellinger calls on his wife LaMyia to be his leading woman. Being that she starred in the visual to his song “1st Lady,” Bellinger calls it a “full circle moment.” Watch the video above.
“To have her in ‘Flotus’ not only to show the real love that we share, but also the growth in our overall bond over the past 6 years,” Bellinger said about having his wife in the video.
Eric B. For President: Term 3, which is due out on October 30, will also include the tracks “Godly” and “Solo’n.”
