Consistency is key when it comes to relationship goals for Raiche. The blossoming singer serves a pressure-filled single called “Pick a Side.”
The radio-friendly track has a sense of familiarity to its soulful yet gritty instrumental. It balances her lovelorn vocal delivery that speaks directly to a confused partner who sends misleading signals in the relationship.
Raiche followed up on the release of “Pick a Side” with the arrival of its official music video. The Maya Table-directed video begins with Raiche swinging a bat, as she sings a preview of her forthcoming single “Funeral.”
After she makes a scattering statement to her soon-to-be ex, she goes into the video for “Pick a Side,” and is seen in a distressed state. She isn’t down for long, though. It soon flickers to beauty shots of Raiche for the remainder of the visual. Watch the video above.
“Pick a Side” follows Raiche’s 2019 single “Shine.” It also comes behind her Drive EP, which also dropped last year.
