PJ Morton and Tobe Nwigwe reunite for their latest ear-catching song, “Ashamed.”
The stripped-down track displays how Morton and Nwigwe feel about the racism and ignorance that has reached new levels during the current state of the nation.
With blunt and straight forward lyrics, the two have decided to shed light on a message that needs to be heard now more than ever.
Morton sings in the first verse, “You should be ashamed / That nothing’s really changed / And it’s your ignorance / That won’t give me a chance / Because of the color of my skin / You won’t listen / And after all this time / You won’t change your mind / And you should be ashamed.”
