In a year since the release of her debut album Over It, Summer Walker has earned platinum and gold plaques; released a new EP (Life on Earth), won a Billboard Award; and collaborated with the likes of Trey Songz and Khalid. To celebrate her tremendous year, Walker returns the love with a complete set to her groundbreaking debut album.
The new set includes all 18 songs from the original album, plus instrumentals, acapellas, and live renditions of fan-favorites such as “Body,” “Tonight,” “Drunk Dialing” and more.
Over It, which landed on Rated R&B’s best R&B albums of 2019 list, made streaming history as the best streaming debut by a female R&B artist since Beyoncé’s Lemonade in 2016.
Most recently, Walker scored her first number-one single on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay for “Back Home” with Trey Songz. She also released her version of Eartha Kitt’s “Santa Baby.”
In other news, Walker is scheduled to take the stage for Pandora LIVE Sounds of Soul alongside R&B legend Brandy. The free virtual event goes down on December 1 at 9 p.m. ET. More information available here.
