Mýa knows how to keep her fans engaged until she decides to release a new album. Four singles in, the R&B veteran musters up one more gem before the year’s end and titles it “Just Call My Name.”
It’s one of those warm tunes about finding solace in a dependable partner that will never leave your side, no matter how rough times get. Here, Mýa lets her companion know that she is a comforting shoulder to cry on, reminding him that he doesn’t have to weather the storm alone.
“Just Call My Name” comes less than a month after the digital drop of “I’m Do It.” Prior to that, Mýa shared the level-headed anthem “I Deserve It,” the Louis York-helmed “Space and Time,” and the intoxicating sequel to “You Got Me.”
At this time, Mýa has remained mum about a new album. T.K.O. (The Knock Out) was her last album in 2018.
