Mariah Carey does the math and computes four new EPs from her #MC30 campaign for her beloved Lambily. This time, the evergreen material is taken from her 2008 hit album E=MC².
The elusive chanteuse whistles back to four key tracks from her sixth number-one album, including “I Stay in Love,” “I’m That Chick,” “I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time,” and “Touch My Body.” Each EP is complete with various mixes, plus instrumentals, and an arsenal of sonic add-ons to further bask in Carey’s supreme talent.
The latter track, which was the lead single from the LP, marked Carey’s 18th Hot 100 number-one hit. It surpassed Elvis Presley’s record for the most chart-topping singles as a solo act on the same chart. For the record, the multi-platinum single peaked at the top of the Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks.
Along with the rollout of new EPs, Carey attaches two previously released bonus tracks (“Heat,” “4Real” featuring Da Brat) to the tracklisting of E=MC².
This year, Carey has revisited The Emancipation of Mimi and Charmbracelet eras with a handful of EPs.
