Sevyn Streeter doesn’t mind feeling a little “Guilty” on her new single. She reunited with longtime collaborator Chris Brown and adds A$AP Ferg into the mix.
Produced by Chizzy Stephens, the track samples James Brown’s “The Payback,” adding to the smooth and duplicitous nature of the song. On the hook, Streeter sings, “You gon’ get me / Caught up, love drunk, fucked up / Over you / But we don’t feel guilty / The more that we keep sneakin’, creepin’, leavin’ / Hotel rooms / Might just leave ’em alone.”
“We wrote this on Valentine’s day last year. All the homies who didn’t have vday plans pulled up to my studio & we wrote a sneaky link anthem,” Stephens shared on Instagram.
The track is anticipated to be featured on Streeter’s upcoming project “Drunken Words, Sober Thoughts,” due later this year.
