Syd fans can rejoice as the lead singer of The Internet has released her new song, “Missing Out.”
The singer/songwriter stands in her worth on the digitized slow jam. After a failed relationship, Syd knows that the love she has for herself is greater than the attempt at love she was given.
She sings on the first verse, “Tell me something, babe / Just tell me it was worth it / I know I didn’t deserve it / Didn’t deserve nothing / I needed lovin’, babe / And you gave me a version / It wasn’t always perfect / But now it’s nothing.”
“Missing Out” is Syd’s first solo song in two years since her feature on the Queen & Slim soundtrack for “Getting Late.” She released her debut album Fin in 2017.
