All signs point to the top for Givēon and Daniel Caesar on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
The two R&B gents lead the popular singles chart for the first time after their guest appearances on Justin Bieber’s ripe song “Peaches,” produced by HARV, earned them all an opening position at the top.
Caesar, whose two previous entries on the Hot 100 include “Get You” and “Best Part,” posted his gratitude to Bieber in his Instagram stories, writing, “Eternally grateful.”
Givēon acknowledged the surprising feat on Instagram as well, writing, “Wow my first number 1! 🏆 shout to my brother JB for letting me be apart of this moment. It feels even better cause I caught one with the bros 🤞🏾 @justinbieber @danielcaesar.”

In addition to the success of “Peaches,” which is also topping the Billboard Global 200, the 2021 Best R&B Album nominee is in pursuit of more hits on the Hot 100. His newly platinum single “Heartbreak Anniversary” was placed at No. 29 this week.
The Sevn Thomas and Maneesh-produced track is taken from Givēon’s repackaged project When it’s All Said and Done… Take Time, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 earlier this month.
“Peaches” appears on Bieber’s eighth number-one album Justice.
