But before the winner is announced, the gold-selling artist returns the Grammy love and support to his fans with a repackaged project titled When it’s All Said and Done… Take Time.
Combining the title and material from his debut EP and its follow-up, the 13-track project is Givēon’s decision to hit the reset button on his career in an organic way.
It’s also his way to honor the approaching first anniversary of Take Time, an EP ranked as one of Rated R&B’s 30 best R&B albums of 2020.
“My first two EPs were stories about a chapter in my love life,” wrote Givēon on Instagram. “The bright spots and the nuisances. I really just used music as a vehicle to exhibit all of my vulnerabilities and truths… the fact that so many people are moved by my stories leaves me speechless every day. I’m beyond grateful and blessed to have you all along every step of the journey.”
When it’s All Said and Done… Take Time includes one new song (“All To Me), as well as his first top 10 R&B single, “Like I Want You.”
