Rising UK singer Mnelia is left feeling “Senseless” on her new song.
On the throwback track, Mnelia experiences a new and unnatural feeling from the man she desires after he causes her to feel more vulnerable than she’s ever been.
She sings, “If you write out the clause, will I sign the dotted line? / Of course, I’ma keep it simple for you / I L-I-K-E Y-O-U, so what we ’bout to do?”
With the StevieBBeatz-produced tune, Mnelia releases a music video directed by Terry Paul. The clip could be described as a nostalgic merger between the ‘90s and the present, with Paul stating in an Instagram post, “‘90’s babies so we had to take it back and show that through the references in a refreshing way.”
“Senseless” marks Mnelia’s first release of 2021. In 2020, she released the EP, After 6, featuring her breakout single “Say Yeah.”
Two years prior, Mnelia dropped her debut album 2:4.
