Shelley FKA DRAM has stayed busy since the announcement of his self-titled sophomore album. He released two new songs with music videos and hosted three episodes of his new series, Cooking With Grease Show. Now, the gold-selling artist is the headliner of his very own NPR Music Tiny Desk (Home) Concert.
For the intimate, four-song set, Shelley, styled in a pastel green daytime pajama outfit, played the sizzling “Cooking With Grease,” the slow groove “Exposure,” and the sultry “The Lay Down.” He also debuted the new song “Rich & Famous,” lifted from his upcoming album.
Speaking of the follow-up to 2016’s Big Baby DRAM, Shelley pushed back the album’s original release date from April 16 to April 29 to coincide with his late mother’s birthday. She transitioned last year.
