As “Between the Lines” picks up steam in airplay at R&B radio stations, Gwen Bunn releases the video for the Faith Evans-assisted and sampled track.
The Samuel McKnight-directed clip blends a gradient sunset color palette and vintage camera effects to amplify Bunn’s laidback mannerisms and performance.
Evans later joins in on the chill vibes, with scenes alongside Bunn and lone close-ups fronted by flowers and against a polychrome background.
“Between the Lines” marked Gwen Bunn’s fourth one-off track of 2020. She previously issued the songs: “Don’t Go,” “Pressure,” and “No Days Off.” All songs are leading up to her yet-titled upcoming project, out sometime later this year.
Bunn was last seen in the studio working on new music with Alex Isley, India Shawn, and Tiffany Gouché.
Since releasing the collaboration “Between the Lines” in September 2020, Evans has shared the inspirational track “Right Now” featuring Big Knuck.
