Jam & Lewis has put together an all-star lineup of incredible collaborators for their debut album, Jam & Lewis, Vol. 1, out July 9 via Flyte Tyme Productions, Inc., in partnership with BMG.
Spotlighted on the ten-track LP, all produced by the duo, is Mary J. Blige, Usher, Toni Braxton, Boyz II Men, Charlie Wilson, Heather Headley, Morris Day, Jerome, and The Roots.
Mariah Carey is featured on the album’s second single, “Somewhat Loved (There You Go Breakin’ My Heart,” released this week. Babyface joined Jam & Lewis for “He Don’t Know Nothin’ Bout You,” their breakthrough single shared last fall. The song is currently holding firm in the top five on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart and R&B radio, respectively.
Another early album track, “Til I Found You,” from 2019, features Sounds of Blackness.
“This album is an important next step in the already legendary careers of Jimmy and Terry,” said Stephen Greener of Primary Wave and manager of the dynamic pair in a previous press release. “This first album from the iconic duo signals yet another landmark moment helping to cement their musical legacies.”
