Rising R&B artist Ann Marie has released the deluxe version of her brand new project, Hate Love. The new edition features four new songs, including the Chris Brown-assisted “Check For Me.”
“Check For Me” is a catchy uptempo track with sensual lyrics and a classic Breezy flare that only he can add to a song. Marie sings about not needing a man for nothing, but she wants this one for one thing. Though if he doesn’t pay her any mind, then she won’t either.
Brown coos about all the things he wants to do with his lady behind closed doors. “I’ma cuff her, but I’m no police / Layin’ on, her ain’t payin’ the lease,” he sings.
The expanded version of Hate Love comes just two weeks under the original, which included Tink and Yung Bleu features. Speaking of Bleu, Marie is currently touring the nation with him on his Moon Boy Tour.
On the other hand, Brown has been on a feature streak, appearing on songs with H.E.R., OG Parker, Bleu, and Wale, to name a few. His “Angles” collaboration with the latter star has an accompanying video. He also recently earned 27 new RIAA awards.
