Tone Stith has returned with his new EP, Still FWM.
The seven-track project includes the previously shared songs “I Don’t Wanna” and “Something In The Water” featuring Maeta. It features additional appearances from Chris Brown and Kenneth Paige.
On the Brown-assisted “Do I Ever,” which samples Brian McKnight’s 1997 classic “Anytime,” a heartbroken Stith tries to cope with a failed relationship. However, he can’t help but wonder if his ex still thinks about him.
“Do I ever cross your mind? / And do you ever come across me on your timеline? / You just made a grown man cry / Tears keep rolling down my еyes,” he sings.
Brown comes in on the second verse trying to make amends with his former bae. “Pick up the phone and call me / I’m all alone and sorry / Tell me do you think of the good times,” Brown sings.
Still FWM arrives nearly five months after his FWM EP. It includes collaborations with H.E.R., Kiana Ledé and Lonr.“This is a new introduction,” Stith explained to Rated R&B about FWM. “For the people that have heard it, this is a re-introduction. This is different than what I’ve done before. For the new people, now is the time to f*ck with me. Now is the time to get on the train because we’re about to take off and we’re going to keep going.”
Stith is currently supporting H.E.R. on the Back of My Mind Tour, along with Maeta and Ajanee.
