Summer Walker has officially launched a new era. The singer-songwriter has released her new single “Ex For A Reason” featuring JT of City Girls.
On the Sean Garrett-penned anthem, Walker makes it clear that she doesn’t have any tolerance for any drama from her man’s former lover.
“That bitch your ex (Your ex), for a reason though / A reason though . Try me, trespass / Guarantee to beat your ass,” Walker sings on the chorus.
JT echoes Walker’s sentiments in her fiery second verse. “Hood bitch bring the trap out / Quick to pull up if a bitch wanna act out / He got a bitch with a check now,” she raps.
“Ex For A Reason” is the lead single from Walker’s sophomore album, Still Over It, which will arrive on November 5 via LVRN/Interscope Records. It is the follow-up her 2019 LP, Over It.
