New Edition, winners of two AMAs, last performed at the annual ceremony in 1997, followed by the release of their double-platinum 1996 album, Home Again.
The influential group won’t be sharing the stage alone. New Kids on the Block, another band hailing from the state of Boston, will take us down memory lane.
Other AMA performers include Megan Thee Stallion, Carrie Underwood, Tyler, the Creator, Bad Bunny, and others. Hosted by Cardi B, the 2021 American Music Awards airs on ABC on Sunday, November 21, at 8 p.m. EST.
As mentioned above, New Edition is gearing up for a forthcoming tour and residency under a deal inked with Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
