Rising R&B star Givēon has secured a brand partnership deal with Tres Generaciones Tequila.
The seven-time Grammy-nominated singer is the face of the tequila company’s “Get Up Tres” marketing campaign, which encourages artists, creators and fans to embrace the missteps in their journey.
Tres Gen Tequila serves as the official sponsor for Givēon’s headlining Give or Take Tour as part of the deal. Reps from the company will travel with Givēon to host cocktail events in select cities. The events will also feature a series of visuals centered around Givēon’s “Get Up Tres” journey.
“For me, it’s all about the process. That’s where the hard work shows up. That’s where the heart and heartache and all the storytelling reside,” says Givēon. “I’m looking forward to working with Tres Gen Tequila to not only share my story but to offer a platform through ‘Get Up Tres’ for others to tell us about their own journey and celebrate their own successes, both big and small.”

Givēon launched his Give or Take Tour on Aug. 16 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He will play in major cities across North America, including Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, Houston, Las Vegas and Nashville. He will close out his tour with three consecutive shows in Toronto, Canada, from Oct. 19 through Oct. 21.
The Give or Take Tour supports Givēon’s debut album, Give or Take, which debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the Top R&B Albums chart.
“My debut album Give or Take is a collection of reminiscences over the last few years of my life,” Givēon told Rated R&B. “Suddenly having to adapt to a world in which there are so many eyes watching and experiencing a wide spectrum of emotions at once naturally brought these songs to the surface.
